Everything you need from a QR code generator

Most QR generators bury the essentials behind sign-ups and upsells. Ours puts every useful option in front of you — free, private and instant.

Customization

Full control over how your QR code looks

Pattern & background colors

Preset swatches plus a full color picker for both the QR pattern and its background. Low-contrast combinations are blocked automatically so you can’t export an unscannable code.

Center logo upload

Drop in a small logo (PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 2 MB) and it sits in the center of the code. We remind you to use Q or H error correction so scans stay reliable.

Dot styles & corner eyes

Six dot styles — square, rounded, dots, extra round, classy and classy rounded — plus three corner-eye styles to give the code its own character.

Gradient fills

Apply linear or radial gradients to the QR pattern and the background, with full control over the start and end colors and the angle.

Frames with CTA text

Wrap the code in a branded frame with your own call-to-action — “SCAN ME”, “Scan for the menu”, anything. The frame is part of the downloaded file.

Error correction levels

Choose L (7%), M (15%), Q (25%) or H (30%) to balance density against durability — the higher the level, the more damage a code survives.

Size & quiet zone

Tune the preview size and the white margin (quiet zone) around the code — the margin scanners need to read it reliably.

Live preview

The QR code updates the moment you type. What you see is exactly what you download — no surprises between preview and print.

Formats & quality

Print-ready downloads in five formats

Every QR code can be downloaded as PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG or PDF — all free, all without watermarks.

PNG · WebP

Raster, for digital

Export at 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels — ideal for websites, emails and social media. WebP gives the same quality with a smaller file.

SVG

Vector, for print

A lossless vector file that stays razor sharp from a business card to a billboard. The format designers and print shops prefer.

FAQ

Questions about the features

Can I put a logo in the middle of my QR code?

Yes. Upload your logo in the generator and it will be placed in the center. Use error correction level Q or H so the code still scans reliably with the logo covering part of the pattern.

Can I change the color of my QR code?

Yes — choose from preset swatches, pick any custom foreground and background color, or use linear and radial gradients. Keep the contrast high (dark foreground on light background) so scanners can read the code reliably. We block low-contrast combinations automatically before you can export them.

What error correction level should I choose?

L (7%) recovers the least data, H (30%) the most. Use Q or H when adding a logo or printing on textured surfaces; L or M is fine for simple black-on-white codes. Higher levels make the pattern denser but more resilient.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

Use SVG for print and anything that must scale without losing quality — it is a vector format. Use PNG for digital use such as websites, emails and social media. JPEG and WebP give smaller files, and PDF produces a print-ready document. Our generator offers all five formats.

Why is my QR code not scanning?

Most issues come from low color contrast, a missing quiet zone, a logo that is too large, or printing at too small a size. Test the code with your phone camera before printing, and keep the foreground and background colors clearly distinct.

Is my data private when I use this generator?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser — your URLs, text, WiFi passwords and contacts are encoded locally and never uploaded to a server. There is no account, no backend and no tracking on this site.
